 Zamna´ Urista-Rojas         1977 

Flamenco guitarist. Begins to study the flamenco guitar when he is 16 years old, his formation as a guitarist is principaly in Sevilla, Spain where he lives for the last ten years. His art form takes him to intervene in all types of music projects and perform with various flamenco companies. Some of these include “ La Cuadra de Sevilla “ directed by Salvador Tavora, with whom in 2006 he participates in the production “ Carmen “ in “ El Festival de Danza de Las Canarias “, “ Carmina Burana “ on tour in England and in 2007 “ La Traviata “, during its premiere in “ El Bienal de Flamenco de Malaga “

and in "Teatro Villa de Molina" of Murcia.

In 2000 he goes to Oslo, Norway to perform in “ Arte Flamenco “ , later in 2002 plays in the “ IV Festival Flamenca de Carrion de los Cespedes “ in Sevilla. In 2001, 2003, and 2005 he is part of the "Festival de Flamenco - Spain meets Canada " and in 2007 he returns to Canada to participate in the production " Tierra "

that premiered in Calgary.

His guitar also takes him performing to Switzerland, Italy, Marroco, USA, Sweden, Denmark, Holanda, Poland ( 2009 - Gypsy Festival of Warsaw and 2011 Romane Dyvesa Festival ), Hungary 2010 - “Lucero Flamenco” in Pecsi Folknapok Festival and in Germany many projects, for example in 2009 recording with Asphalt Tango Records, touring with "Agua y Tierra" , "Canciones de Lorca", peforming in "Flamenco A Dos", "Kathak Flamenco", "Festival Flamencomaniacos" in the shows " Sevilla Mia" and "FlamencoFusionFunk", and in 2010 the shows "Esencia", "Los Dos Tiempos", touring with "A Nuestro Aire", "Sevilla Mia" , "FlamencOpera" , "Fantasias Flamencas" and "Flamenco Oriental". Flamenco Festival of -Wurzburg 2009, 2010, 2011 and also in 2011 Flamenco Festival de Mainz and 2011-2018 with Komisches Oper of Berlin with the production "Carmen". In 2012, "Aki Flamenco" , "Flamencura", "Flamenco por Favor" , "Yo Soy Esa". "Ritmo y Passion" 2012/13/14 and 2013 "Noche de - Estrellas" , "Noche de Tablao". "Alas y Olas" and "Mestizo Flamenco" 2013/14.
